Production Practice of Low Sulfur Steel in Laiwu Steel Group

摘要：

Therere many virtues of desulfurization by injecting passivated magnesium grain,such as, short period, few losses of metal and prominent effect. But resulfurization is serious,due to forming little slag and slag removal not thorough. Through slag infiltrating with synthetic flux of CaO-CaF2-CaC2 during tapping, and deep desulfurization by hall alkalinity witer slag during LF refining, the rate of desuifurization of molten steel can be above 80％ after tapping.
