Theoretical Analysis of a New Kind of Composite Slim Girder
In this paper,a new kind of composite slim girder with reduced height for multi-story building was studied. The commercial software ABAQUS is used to analyze the behaviour of composite girder. The theoretical analysis results are compared with the experimental results and they agree well with each other. Then based on the theoretical analysis,the influence of loading position,area of steel girder,steel yield strength and concrete slab thickness on the behaviour of composite girder is analyzed. The results show that the loading position has no evident influence on the load-deflection relationship curves of composite girder with reduced height. The concrete strength and steel yield strength have little influence on the behavior of composite girder. The rigidity and bearing capacity with T shape steel girder are better than that of standard specimen in this paper.
