A study on the influnce of Building Law on the spatial dimension of Qilou in Taiwan,China
Qilou architectures of China Taiwan it derived from Japanese who based on desires of modern cities and location climate of China Taiwan druing the Japanese colonial period.Since 1900 Japanese government executed the policy of Taiwan House of Building Law, and Qilou law had popularized the whole island of China Taiwan, it was different from the other British colonial policies, and thus it also had different originated and planned program. Especially spatial dimension of Qilou often had influenced by the political society, living environment and building technology, thus each city produced different “Qilou of shophouses. Therefore, this research is focus Qilou perspective,to analysis spatial dimension of Qilou in China Taiwan.And this study could be find that the construct of Qilou had “adapt to local principle in both of highness and deepness, and each city of the whole China Taiwan has different types of Qilou.
