The Effect of the Policies for Higher Education Reorganization to Promote the Cooperation in the Region with the University——A Case Study of Gendai GP
Recently, there are great changes in the higher education in South Korea, as decrease of 18-years old population, and transformation of university educational reorganization. The purpose of this paper is to examine the significance of Gendai GP which is one of the university educational reorganization measure in Japan and transformation of the university and the region, using analysis of special feature of Gendai GP and result of projects that there are actually selected and executed.The research included the questionnaire survey for 37 public university which are selected, and 4 detailed case study in order to grasp transformation of the university and the region which having been adopted Gendai GP. It is noticed that the possibility of strengthening cooperation in the region with the university will be brought the developing organization, progress of region revitalization program,expanding the cooperated organization while it is selected Gendai GP and executes it.
