To Carve and Grind Jade with Stones out of other Mountains——On the Application of Architectural Relative Theories in Environmental Art Design Teaching and the Teaching Program Revision

Environmental art design, although as a new born borderline subject ofarchitecture and urban planning, and most of the colleges have the subject, for the differences of school background and subject constitution, there are many deviations on the course offered. For example, for most architectural colleges, the course is set according to the normal architecture teaching; in art schools, art courses are still emphasized on, while forestry colleges put botany planting and other relative courses on the list. Therefore, there is no denying of the difference on the teaching programs and basic training direction. According to the authors teaching experience, with the strong points combination of each part,a more reasonable teaching program for both the school and students could be worked out. Consequently, put the relative theories of architecture in the subject, learning from the strong points and closing the gap, would possibly give free rein to the superiority.
