A Study on the Relationship between Hydration Heat and Autogenous shrinkage of high Strength Concrete
This study defined the sections where hydration temperature and autogenous shrinkage are closely related in early age high-strength concrete, determined the coefficient that expresses the properties of sections, and presented how to calculate it. The results of an analysis of hydration heat and autogenous shrinkage of early age high-strength concrete through suggested analysis method indicate that it is possible to establish the HHS and ASS and to numerate HHV and ASV. This study also confirmed that depending on the use of admixtures such as fly ash or ground granulated blast-furnace slag, properties of early age hydration heating and autogenous shrinkage differ, but that HHV and ASV have a highly close correlation.
