Cyclic Performance of Diagrid Structural System Nodes
Recently the use of diagrid structural systems for structural effectiveness and architectural esthetics has been developed. It is expected that the diagrid structural system will be extended into more markets, so there have been many studies and structural analyses of its efficiency as a function of the installation angle of the diagonal brace, but few studies or detailed structural analyses of the diagrid structural system nodes.Therefore, experimental study is needed to apply diagrid for high-rise buildings. In this study, the cyclic test was performed to investigate the structural performance for the lateral loads such as earthquake or wind.
