The Process of Change of Building Types on the Central Commercial Street of Yanji,China——Based on the Architecture of JiefangLu Since 1950
This research aims to trace the process of historical change of the central commercial street of JiefangLu investigating the types of the buildings both side of JiefangLu, the main commercial street of Yanji, China.The subject of studies is the existing buildings which were built between 1950s and 2000s. This research has been done through the analysis of architectural drawings and field study. Through the analysis of each buildings which were based on its date, year, height, structure,area, exterior material and the building styles. This study tries to find out the relationship between these elements and styles of the architecture. The results of this research come to a conclusion that there are three architecture types such as western classical style, eclecticism,modernization.
