A Study on a Style of building for Yongsan Station
Yongsan area in Seoul has been foreign army post since sunrise of 20 century.At first, Japanese imperial army and U.S.Army now. U.S.Army decided to evacuate from Yongsan area. History of Yongsan area is beginning to change from its disgrace. Yongsan station built on 1904 was the symbol building of disgrace.From this point of view, investigation for Yongsan station is meaningful. The purpose of this research is to ruminate on Yongsan station for historical and architectural ways. It came to build with the imperialism aggression for historical ways. Its amhitectural style was Yamagataken Japanese western style. Comparing Yongsan station and buildings built at that time with similar style, Research revealed architectural style which influenced to Yongsan station.
