Innovation and conservation are two major trends of the city culture development.Dudng the course, we should avoid the loss and alienation of the city cultural essence.According to three major features of city culture, we should enhance the cultural quality of city history, take city memory as the soul of a city, improve the heritage value of the architectural culture. We should extend the new and old city contexture, promote the harmony between the new and old to reflect the local feature of the city. We should realize that the city art lies in the harmony of the old and new and to explore the creation of harmonious beauty of the new buildings.
