Current state investigation and dynamic change analysis of land use
This article categorizes the land use methods based on the characters of land use of Kitakyushu and analyze the land use status quantitatively. We used 3 models for the analysis: 1) Unique land use type dynamic degree change model; 2) Land use grade synthesis index model 3) Land use degree change model.According to the calculation of the first model, the quantity of the farmland and idle land is decreasing; homeland, public and commonweal lands are increasing.The idle land has the highest change ratio,and then followed by farmland, homeland,public and commonweal lands. According to the synthesis analysis of the second and third models, it reveals that the strength of the land use represents the level of urbanization. According to the calculation and analysis, the value of the entire land use degree of Kitakyushu is greater than 0 which reveals that the urbanization is in the development stage. The average land use strength index is greater than 2.7, which illustrates that the land use degree of Kitakyushu is in the status of transformation from expanded land use mode to intensive land use model.
