Research on the Towns Ecological Development in Coordination with River Basin in Guanzhong Plain——Case Study on Lantian County in Babe River Basin
Weihe River, running through Guanzhong plain in Shaanxi Province of China, has quite a few tributaries which create a dense network of surface water system,and the development of cities and towns has close relation to the river basin.Under the background of contemporary urbanization, poor-planned development destroyed the rivers natural habitat, so that the degeneration of the river ecosystem is aggravated and the ecological fragility of the river basin is intensified, resulting in greatly restricted sustainable development of the region. Taking Lantian County in Bahe River basin as a case, the thesis analyzes the relations between the towns and local geographical environment,presents the concept on town development in coordination with the ecological environment of river basin, and ecological function zoning and ecological corridors construction are discussed to promote the towns ecological development.
