ARCHITECTURE AND KEY TECHNOLOGIES OF REGIONAL 3PL INFORMATION PLATFORM
This article analyzed the current situation and tendency of third party logistics (3PL or TPL) in China,considered that information sharing and resource utilization are the main problems of 3PL. Advanced that regionalinformation platform of 3PL can solve these problems. Then, established the framework, functional modules andhierarchical structure of regional 3PL information platform, the framework expressed relations among enterprise,regional, industrial and national 3PL information platforms, functional modules included information service,operation management, optimum decision, financial management and system management, the hierarchical structurecontained five levels, they are basic level, support level, application level, decision level and user level. Next, putforward the operation process of regional 3PL information platform. In the end, introduced and discussed keytechnologies in establishing and running process, they are transportation optimization, real-time monitoring anddecision-making.
