New Technology for Controlling Emission of Hazardous Gases in Mine Stope and Its Application

The technology of lowering the wind pressure in the stope was studied in this paper. The results of theoretically analyzing and practical study showed that the technology was effective in inhibiting and reducing the emission of gas and other harmful gases in the stope for the mines with complicated coal seams of high gas content and serious coal and gas outburst, especially for the stope of heavy emission of gas and other harmful gases in the goaf and having no conditions to release the gas. This new technology was convenient for controlling the emission of harmful gases (mainly for gas), and furthermore its cost was very low.
