DUAL OUTPUT PULSES GENERATOR BASED ON A NEW TYPE OF BLUMLEIN PULSE FORMING LINE

摘要：

A novel scheme of dual output pulses generator based on a new type of Blumlein pulse forming line(PFL) is proposed. Compared with conventional Blumlein PFL, the main switch is moved to the middle of Blumlein PFL, when the main switch closes, a wave process starts in the PFL and a rectangle pulse is produced on each end of the PFL. Dual output pulses with power of 2×1GW are achieved from the new type of dual output Blumlein PFL , the dual output pulses have peak voltage of 230kV and the half amplitude width of 5ns.
