THE RELATION ANALYSIS AMONG CBM, RCM AND CMMS
In the process of studying condition based maintenance (CBM) of complex equipment, we need pay attention to the relations and differences among CBM, RCM, and CMMS. Beginning from analysing the relations between CBM and RCM, the paper indicates that it is important for RCM to integrate with CBM. Also, in order to perform functions of CBM, RCM, and CMMS, this paper studies how to integrate CBM, RCM, and CMMS perfectly. First, the paper analyses functions of CMMS which can support CBM and RCM. Then an integration system framework of RCM-CBM-CMMS is put forward and a kind of data exchange flow among CBM, RCM and CMMS is described. In order to integrate RCM and CBM reasonably, we must have a CMMS which has some proper functions. But as an administration tool, CMMS should be subject to the functions of RCM and CBM. The functions of CMMS need be adjusted according to the requirements of RCM and CBM.
