MODEL ANALYSIS AND EXPERIMENT FOR THE TWISTED BLADE OF A STEAM TURBINE
In this paper, model analysis was conducted for a steam turbine blade of some chemical fertilizer plant. The model of the steam turbine blade was set up by the CAD software PRO/E, and then it was introduced into the CAE software ANSYS, in which it was meshed and the model analysis was made. After the solution, 10 models of a-shape vibration and 5 models of b-shape vibration were obtained. Based on these results, a modal experiment was designed and conducted in order to test the modal parameters of the blade, which certified the accuracy of the ANSYS calculation. Moreover, the vibration characteristics were presented in the experiment. The approximate results between numerical simulation and the experiment indicated that the measurement of displacement in the experiment was reasonable and correct. For the aging problem of the imported units of petrochemical enterprises, an effective method for improving and modifying the structure of the units is proposed in this paper. The research can both assist designers to avoid resonance and noise, which will strengthen the stability and security of the blades, and provide theory basis for structure improvement and optimization.
