APPLICATION OF DATA MINING ON DIAGNOSING EARLY FAULTS FOR DIESEL ENGINE
There are many diagnosis methods for diesel engine at present. In the methods, the sensitive characteristic parameters of the diesel engines are extracted from the signals measured by mainly adopting filtering, spectrum analyzing or other signal processing methods,so as to diagnose the faults. A plenty of data was collected and stored for monitoring conditions of the diesel engine. The research on diagnosing early faults of the diesel engine is presented using the statistical data mining to analyze the prevalent data and the currently running data in the paper.
