THE OPTIMIZATION OF DIAGNOSTIC CRITICAL VALUE AND DETECTION CYCLEFOR MULTI-MODE SYSTEM

The system in this paper is defined with four modes: normal, abnormal, hidden fault and failure. For each different mode, a specific maintenance and detection policy is applied to work out the optimized arithmetic of the critical value and detection cycle with a purpose to maximize the system output. Meanwhile, through this arithmetic we can also get the index of system reliability. The paper verifies the feasibility of this arithmetic and the rationality of different maintenance and detection policy applied to a specific system mode.
