DATA MINING AND SIMULATION ON PLATE DAMAGE OF WEAPON EQUIPMENT

In order to provide the basic data for the study on battle damage of weapon equipment, it established a finite element model to simulate the different velocity projectiles penetrating plates. By using multivariate statistical analysis, it presented a data mining method of battle damage on weapon equipment target plate. It showed that: the calculated result by using this method was agreeable with the theoretic result. Therefore, the data mining method of battle damage on weapon equipment target plates based on multivariate statistical analysis is feasible, it can be generalized to study the vulnerabilities of large weapon equipments.
