Application of MODIS Remotely Sensed Datasets to Automatic Detection of Forest Fire Point
According to the theory of forest burning circle and characteristics of MODIS remotely sensed datasets,absolute rule, difference rule and background rule of forest fire point detection based on MODIS are respectively proposed.It is shown that over 80%of the forest fire points can be successfully and automatically recognized with the model.
