Design and Implementation of Reconfigurable CNC System based on Fieldbus
Conventional CNC system is no longer suited to modern manufacturing system,reconfigurable CNC system has become the research focus recently.This paper introduces a new reconfigurable Fieldbus-based CNC system with an open architecture that offers interoperability and portability,presents the Mechatrolink-II Fieldbus for the CNC system,analyses the implementation by adopting component models in detail,and explicates the CML mechanism for components communication management.Finally,a comparative experiment based on a 4- axis CNC system has been carried out to exhibit the reconfigurable CNC system based on Fieldbus.
