Research of Ecology-based Perspective on Regional Industrial Ecosystem
Analyzing and understanding regional industrial ecosystem is a scientific challenge and important meaning for the development of regional economy. This paper presents a theoretical framework for the study of the regional industrial ecosystem based on the ecology theory and evolutionary economics. The theoretical framework includes three tiers of ecological attributes like species in the natural ecosystem, namely participant diversity, interactive stability and ecosystem co-evolution. The three tiers are progressive: participant diversity is the basic and key role, and their interactive stability can further result in co-evolution of the regional industrial ecosystem, which represents rapid development of the regional industry. In the end, the paper addresses that studying on the regional industrial ecosystem and its ecological attributes is helpful to research on development of the regional industry.
