A Multi Mobile Agent System Architecture for Supply Chain Risk Management
A multi mobile agent system architecture for supply chain risk managementhas been presented, in which the agents are classified into three types: function agent for realizing an process of supply chain risk management, coordination agent for coordination with other agents, interface agent for communication between the user and the system. The risk management processes had been represented as function agents which were divided into 5 categories: risk identification agent, risk assessment agent, risk decision agent,risk management agent and risk monitoring agent. The agents communicate based on KQML and CORBA, and coordinate with Markov decision process. To illustrate the architecture, a SWARM-based program has been proposed to simulate the condition of fluctuant demand and disruption of supply. The results indicated that the MMAS architecture can increase the flexibility and resource performance of supply chain.
