Supply Chain Evolution and Intra-Industry Specialization

More and more researchers recognize that the supply chain networks should be managed as complex adaptive systems.Mainly due to intra-industry specialization in the electronics industry, in order to enhance competitiveness, there appear new business models in manufacturing. As a result the supply chain networks has become even more complicated. In this paper, we discuss the different structural forms in the supply chain changes from an evolutionary view. Then we also analyze the impact of purchasing,manufacturing, inventory strategy and the coordination in this changes.
