Study on Regional Production Function Model with Principal Components Analysis

摘要：

Based on the data of Heilongjiang province from 1978-2004, this paper fits regional production function with econometric model. Under first-order nonhomogeneous condition, principal components analysis approach and general least square on basis of Prais-Winsten are introduced to deal with the inconsistency of basic hypothesis. After detail research,some results have been concluded: this regional economy is in the declining scale return interval. The contribution rate of technology progress is lower and economic growth is mainly made by capital factor. Moreover, the influence of system structure change is distinct on elasticity of productivity.
