Studies of an Evaluation Model on Manufacturing Execution System in Pulp and Paper Industry
Manufacturing execution system (MES) is located between the enterprise upper floor Enterprise Resource Planning ERP and the bottom floor equipment automatic control system PLC/DCS. It is a plant production management technology and real-time information system. MESs concept, its functional model and its important status in the manufacturing industry are introduced in this article. Associated with production of pulp and paper industry, An Evaluate Model is designed. The model also has a certain reference value when constructing Management Information System (MIS) by correlated industries.
