Simulation for the Mixed Inventory Strategy of Supply Chain
Under the uncertain demand, a model of inventory control system which involves several suppliers,one manufacturer and many dealers was developed.Based on the model, an improvement to the VMI was made, and a mixed inventory strategy that VMI combines quantity discount and revenue-sharing contract was constructed. By the simulation experiment, the best revenue-sharing coefficient and price discount coefficient was obtained. According to the result of the simulation experiment, it also presents the conclusion that mixed inventory strategy could promote each members sales,increase the selling profits, reduce the average cost of the supply chain and harmonize each parts of the supply chain.
