Study of Organization Structure Based on Information Theory

摘要：

Information process is the basic function of the organization structure, and the organization structure can affect benefit and competition of the enterprise largely. Use information theory model to analysis the overall efficiency and the speed of the market response of the enterprise under the functional and matrix structure. At the end, analysis and discuss the efficiency and market response time of enterprise as products increased. The conclusion indicate that the enterprise overall efficiency is the highest under the functional structure, and the speed of response of the market is the quickest under the matrix structure. Therefore, its necessary to tradeoff between the overall efficiency and the speed of the market response when the enterprise design or adjust organization structure.
