Studying Dynamic Responses of Linear Metro Vehicle/Track Coupling System under Random Irregularity
Linear metro system is developed for urban transportation. In this paper, a detailed vertical-lateral dynamic model of linear metro vehicle/track interaction is presented. The vehicle subsystem is modelled as a multi-body system with 31-degree-of-freedom (31DOF).The track subsystem consists of rail and rigid foundation. The rail is modelled by finite element method, and each rail node has 4DOF.The vertical attractive forces between the linear induction motor (LIM) and its reaction plate (RP) have been modelled as special spring forces varying with the air gap, and the lateral force between them is considered as a constant.A random irregularity excitation is introduced into the system, and the effects of it on the vehicle-track dynamic characteristics of linear metro system are carried out. This work lays down the theoretical foundation for vibration attenuation, noise reduction and track management work in linear metro system.
