A study of the application of DEA method in constructing comprehensive bids evaluation

The essential of construction comprehensive bids evaluating is comprehensive evaluation and ranking on multi-factor. In order to be able to reflect characteristics of project and demands of owner,DEA method is introduced to establish construction comprehensive bids evaluating model. First the input and output index of DEA evaluation system is described, and disposal methods are put forward for different type indexes. Then according to the analysis on DEA model with cross evaluation mechanism, the problem is that the method needs multiple evaluation process, and combining the principle of cross evaluation mechanism, DEA model with comprehensive input efficiency is put forward, which is more efficient for evaluating and ranking. Finally, with construction tendering case contrastive analysis is carried for different models. The result indicates that the model with comprehensive input efficiency is more efficient, which also show the rationality of DEA applied in construction comprehensive bidding evaluation.
