Causal Loop Structure Maintaining Charity Shop Operation

Charity shops are found in the UK,the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.They are a kind of retailers and different from existing for-profit shops like supermarkets; their purpose of operation is not commercial but charitable, and merchandise in charity shops is mainly donated.The style and principles of charity shops should be welcomed in other countries. However, they are popular only in the UK. There is room for this popularity to spread in other countries. In particular, booming Asian countries have an opportunity to introduce such shops and requests of societies. Nevertheless, such countries do not seem to be fostering charity shop activities.This research examines charity shop operating conditions and builds causal loop diagrams indicating key structures supporting charity shops. In addition, opportunities to introduce charity shops are discussed.
