Strategic Competence of Senior leaders in Commercial Enterprises in China: Structural Equation Modeling

摘要：

With empirical study, the research analyzes the components of the strategic competence of senior leaders in commercial enterprises in China. After the components of the strategic competence of the senior leaders are summarized, a five-dimensioned model of the strategic competence of the senior leaders in commercial enterprises is built based on the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) of 72 valid questionnaires. The models uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique in the AMOS 5.0 program to test hypothesis. The results of fit indices for the model indicate: strategic competence includes five abilities: strategy implementation capability, strategy decision capability, strategy analysis capability, strategy driving capability and personality maturity.
