Knowledge, network and Innovation
High growth firms generally consist of more than just a single entrepreneur, the ability to innovation of high growth firms is dependent on the knowledge of the firms entrepreneurs. Three key components including entrepreneur, knowledge and network are widely recognized as common and important elements of the innovation, much of the literature has been dominated by studies focused on one or two components in isolation. This paper seeks to synthesize more complete and integrative model of innovations.This paper places high-tech entrepreneurial team on a social network, models how knowledge diffusion occurs through interaction, and network density over which entrepreneurs interact obviously influences the extent of diffusion, and thus entrepreneur teams aggregate level of innovation. t is argued that entrepreneur teams average level of innovation is increasing in the strength of network density, but is convex.
