Competitive Market Signal under Dynamic Environment: A Theoretical Discussion and Its Mechanism of Interpretation and Reaction
The analysis of competitive market signals is one of the basic contexts during companies strategies making, it helps companies grasp market information efficiently and increase their adaptability to the dynamic competitive environment. This paper based on the theories of information economics, strategic management and marketing, discusses the motivations of companies issuing competitive market signals, and how to interpret and react on these signals. As a conclusion,it indicates that while companies receive signals from their rivals, they should interpret them carefully, discern their authenticity, find out their causations or intentions,and react on them efficiently; various reactive patterns can be utilized for receivers to react, but reactive intensity, reactive speed and reactive domain are diverse in different companies, markets, and industries.
