An Input-output Analysis of Urban Rail Transit in Beijing
As Beijing has entered the period of social economic modernization, urbanization and the rapid development, traffic jams have become an increasingly prominent problem, and Beijing urban rail transit development is the most important point to solve traffic problems. In this paper, we will calculate and analyze the Beijing urban rail transit coefficients by using the input-output theory, and analyze Beijing urban rail transportation to discuss the status of the regional economy, the relationship with other sectors, correlation, affected properties and prices, to reach important conclusions, in order to vigorously develop urban rail transportation industry and provide a strong quantitative basis of the great development of urban rail transit in Beijing.
