The Costs and Benefits of Merger & Acquisition: A Capabilities-Based View

摘要：

In the reorganization of the firm in China, there is a general opinion that enlarging the size of firm can acquire the economy of scale and raise the competitive capability. By analyzing the relations among the size of firm,economy of scale and the capability of firms,this paper shows that the size of the firm is not the direct reason but the outcome of the economy of scale and the development of the capability of a firm.
