Approaches of SD feedback dynamic complexity analysis to complex system

The research team leaded by Professor Jia Renan has taken up with the study of the theory and application of SD feedback dynamic complexity analysis since 1985, and has created a series of approaches in succession during the past two decades, which have constructed an approach system of SD feedback dynamic complexity analysis to complex system. This paper introduces three analysis approaches of the system,which are the vertex weighted causal loop diagram analysis approach, the rate variable fundamental in-tree modeling approach, and the feedback loops evaluation by branch-vector determinant arithmetic & the minimal system archetype generating set analytical approach. We believe that there will be many benefits for the system dynamics community in developing a pragmatic method system of SD feedback dynamic complexity analysis.
