Sustainable Industrial Management Using Queueing Theory

This paper describes the reality of China in the process of sustainable development and the necessity of the path of new industrialization. As an effective and specific method to pave the way to achieve sustainable development, this paper mainly discusses the optimal control schemes of sustainable industrial management using queuing theory with modified (p,T) policy, which can model many production procedures in actual industrial operative process management and makes it possible to minimize the total cost of the system and reduce the energy consumption to ensure sustainable development. Through the renewal reward theorem and the total probability decomposition technique, some significant performance indexes of the queueing system under the policy are obtained.. Furthermore, the cost structure is modeled. Finally, we give a specific example to optimize the cost structure. Extending the approach presented in the paper to practice can provide much information for managerial decision-making in sustainable industrial management.
