A System Dynamics Model for Study of the Sustainable Land Use and Development in Hong Kong
In urban land development, land use should be combined with the citys ecological loading capacity. Systems thinking guided, this paper bases on the system dynamics theories, and analyses social and economical background of land use in Hong Kong. A system dynamics model is constructed for the sustainable land use and development in Hong Kong. Simulated results of the key parameters are obtained via computer modeling. On the basis of the results,further analysis can be made of the urban land use and development in the future.
