Empirical Analysis of Dynamic Model of Urban Development in Chinas Economic Transition: a Case Study

As economic transition and urbanization in China step up, the dynamic model of urban development has become the focus of public attention. It has also been adapted to the changes in economic transition. At present, study on dynamic model of urban development in economic transition is important for urban development. In this paper, dynamic model of urban development is introduced based on dissipative structure theory in order to explore the power for urban development. The model consists of four systems :source system driven by market;exogenous system promoted by government;resources-oriented system; urban space system. The interaction of the four systems generates continuous negative entropy flow, which promotes the urban system to transfer from disorder to order. Then, the model is used to analyze the power for urban development in Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta.
