A Study on the Chinese MNCs Synergetic Management of the Competence, the Strategy and the Governance
This paper investigates and models the matching relationships between the competence, the strategy, and the governance of Chinese MNCs. It is based on and developed from the traditional integration-responsiveness framework in the strategic research field of the MNCs. The conclusion deduced from the empirical study is that the organizational competences are the important foundation of the strategic selections, and the matching degree between the strategic selections and the governance mechanisms is strongly related to the MNCs performance. The paper also analyzes the strategic innovation path that the MNCs perhaps adopt in the world domain. Based on the deduction above, the paper finally analyzes the supporting platform that is needed when the MNCs implement the strategic innovation.
