Rapid Manufacturing of Sand Mold by Direct Milling

摘要：

Direct milling sand mold, as one of the important developments in rapid manufacturing of sand mold, has been gradually used in foundry. It has more advantages than traditional sand mold manufacturing. Experiments on rapid manufacturing of sand mold are under way. Under different working conditions, direct milling casting mold with self-developed facility were observed. And the process and cutting mechanisms were analyzed. Tool wear was also investigated.
