The development of training system for virtual micro-otosurgery
The virtual surgery is one of technically difficult applications. It is necessary and of practical significance to apply VR to the micro-otosurgery, which is a functional operation with high precision and great difficulties. The virtual micro-otosurgery system was designed and developed. WTK is adopted as virtual reality development tool, the organ model for mrico-otosurgery is reconstructed by anatomic slice image, the virtual operation instrument model is built based on method of photograph, and the knowledge library is built. 3D panorama scanning, operation demonstrating and interaction operation module are developed, which can serve the operation training and planning.
