Multi-object Optimal Design of Rapid Prototyping Based on Uniform Experiment
As one kind of powder based Rapid Prototyping, Three Dimensional Printing (3DP) is one kind of the most prominent RP methods. Experiment of 3DP is a multi-level and multi-factor problem, together with long process cycle. The mass experiments work was greatly decreased by method of Uniform Design with restricted mixtures for the 3DP products performance to its forming material. Then, the binomial and inverse terms nonlinear regression equations were setup by SPSS statistic software. Together with evaluation function method,Multi-objective optimization model for products performance to the powder mixtures was developed, and the optimization problem was solved by software of MATLAB. After that, the optimum result were solved and tested by experiment with the same condition as before. Difference between the calculation results and testing results is less than 10%, and having the same error direction. Uniform Design method for regression and optimization was proved to be an excellent method to obtain optimum results for multi-level and multi-factor experiments of Rapid Prototyping with long processing cycle.
