The Research on Functionally gradient MaterialLaser Rapid Prototyping Technique
Functionally gradient material (FGM) is a sort of new style complex material. The metal functionally gradient material laser rapid prototyping may expediently, rapidly, economically manufactures the jumbo size, shape complex, metallurgical bonding metal FGM parts. It is developed based on the rapid prototyping increasing material manufacture idea. The metal FGM part can be manufactured through layer-by-layer changing materials composition proportion and depositing them. The materials composition proportion is changed through the real time change proportion delivering powder device and the metal powder is deposited by the high power laser beam. The design method of material component distributing rule in the part entity is investigated. The gradient changing rule and the realizing way of face,line and point gradient is studied and the file format combining the material information and geometry information is put forward. The real time changing proportion allocation technique of three metal powder,powder uniformly mixing technique and coaxial delivering powder technique are investigated. According to the principle of the constant output powder cumulative volume in unit time, the real time powder allocation formulae of three types of powder material are deduced.
