Research on Welding Path Planning of Robot MIG Manufacturing
With the rapid development of the manufacturing, the direct forming technology of metal parts has become an important component of the manufacturing technology. Developing the work around the parts forming technique in the robot MIG welding manufacturing system, this paper concerns on the welding path of the deposition forming for single-layer plate with multipass weld, which could provide theoretical guidance for the latter multi-layer plate with multipass weld forming, as well as technical support for the further study of system. So with the forming for single-layer plate with multipass weld, the overlap of weld has been gained by using the superposition method. Then the welding path planning has been done based on the result of parameter optimization. Considering the possible path of welding torch during welding, such as sequential welding, alternative welding, end to end welding, ecto-entad welding,ento-ectad welding, both sides to middle welding, middle to both sides welding, take the method of deflection analysis to evaluate the quality of the depositing layer, and a best welding path has been gotten.
