Synthesis of zeolite L membrane on porousα-Al2O3 tubes
Zeolite L membrane was successfully synthesized on macroporous (pore size of 1μm)α-Al2O3 tubular support by secondary growth method from clear solution with a molar composition of nAl2O3: nSiO2: nK2O: nH2O=1:20:10.9:1030. The membrane synthesized at 448 K for 18 h was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM).Single gas permeation tests were carried out with H2 and N2.
