A Study of Spray Granulation in Vibrated Fluidized Bed with Internal Heating Tubes

The granulation process in a vibrated fluidized bed with internal heating tubes was studied in this paper, with MAP particles as initial particles and MAP slurry solution sprayed on them. The effects of internal heating power, fluidizing gas velocity, vibration frequency and amplitude had been analyzed. The results shows that: the effects of vibration amplitude and frequency on particles growth indicates a same trend: appropriate vibrated intensity is a preferred condition for the particle growth, but the particles growth rate will decrease and induce more fine dust along with overage vibrated intensity; the incensement of heating power is beneficial to raising particle growth rate; particles will grow faster if the fluidizing gas velocity and temperature are higher, but this will cause much more fine dust.
