Water Dosing Effect on Erythromycin Solventing-out Process Measured by Focused Beam Reflective Measurement Technology
Erythromycin solventing-out process can be affected by many factors such as temperature, solvent, as well as water dosing rate. This paper studies the water dosing effect on erythromycin solventing out process measured by focused beam reflective measurement (FBRM) technology. Subsequent result shows this technique can give a detailed picture on the particle size distribution, which is a corrected result of chord length distribution with an interval as short as two seconds. The FBRM technology thus can guide and boost industrial practice for better efficacy, unity and particle size distribution in pharmaceutical crystals.
